Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the CTRL app for iOS, operated by JIQ MEDIA LLC ("JIQ MEDIA LLC," "we," "us"). By downloading or using CTRL, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use CTRL on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.
2. CTRL Pro subscription
- CTRL Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or annual).
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
- Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse CTRL, reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, or attempt to circumvent its purchase or feature controls. CTRL is a self-control tool; you remain responsible for how you use your device.
4. No guarantee of outcomes
CTRL is a productivity and self-control aid. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and we make no guarantee of any particular result regarding focus, screen time, or behavior.
5. Disclaimers
CTRL is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that app-shielding will function in every situation, as it depends on Apple system frameworks.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CTRL and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the app.
7. Changes to the app and Terms
We may update CTRL and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Apple standard EULA
Unless you have a separate written agreement with us, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies and is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
